As a Business development manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of Onlyplay's presence in the Portuguese-speaking and Brazilian-speaking markets.

For which tasks (responsibilities)?
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the online gambling industry, with a specific focus on the Brazilian market.

  • Plan and organize business trips to Brazil to meet potential clients, attend industry events, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Brazilian online gambling sector.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients in Brazil, including online casino operators, gaming platforms, and other relevant stakeholders.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth in both the Portuguese and Brazilian markets.

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth in markets.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional strategies tailored to the markets.

  • Stay updated with industry regulations and compliance requirements in both Portugal and Brazil to ensure Onlyplay's products and services are fully compliant with local gambling laws.

  • Provide timely and accurate reports on sales performance, market analysis, and business development activities in markets.

What kind of professional are we looking for?
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar position within the online gambling industry, with a focus on business development and sales.

  • Strong track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the online gambling sector.

  • Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of the Portuguese and Brazilian gambling markets, including their regulations, player preferences, and market dynamics.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders, such as online casino operators, gaming platforms, and regulatory bodies, aspecialy in Brazil.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in both Portuguese and English languages.

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to Brazil for business meetings, conferences, and industry events.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to drive business growth.

  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, meet or exceed sales targets, and drive revenue growth in the online gambling industry.

  • Familiarity with online gambling platforms, technologies, and industry-specific software.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
